Tangled UP
Two performers enter a circular space, surrounded by the audience. What begins as a simple encounter quickly unravels into a playful, physical dialogue suspended in the air. Through aerial straps, humour, and unexpected interactions, Tangled Up invites the audience into a world where virtuosity meets absurdity.

Fast-paced and dynamic, the performance blends high-level circus technique with character-driven comedy and direct audience engagement. Breaking the fourth wall from the very beginning, the piece unfolds as a series of surprising games, fragile moments, and shared laughter, where meaning often emerges in silence rather than words.

Tangled Up is a contemporary circus performance that reimagines aerial straps outside their usual framework. Performed on a self-standing circular rig, with the audience all around, it creates an intimate and immersive experience that can exist anywhere. Playful, physical, and full of energy, the piece celebrates the joy of risk, connection, and being present together.
